    The problem isn't the advice, it's pretty sound. Really what needs to be done is communication. Clearly the guy doesn't feel completely comfortable with his boyfriend or his fetish (or a combination of the two). That's what needs to be worked on. They can discover various ways to get the boyfriend off with feet in time. The key to a really rewarding relationship is always going to be communication. With communication you can have a fantastic sex life.

    I agree; communication is key. I don't really like Dan Savage for a number of reasons. This wasn't terrible advice though. The rebuttal wasn't any better. While it explicitly details what some people might enjoy (I could do without chocolate toe dipping and titty twisters, but I always enjoy a good pair of feet rubbing my face), it is just one person's experience and doesn't really address the issue in "SOLE"'s letter.
