White socks smell different than black ones

I wear black sportsocks for my work . I ve noticed that they always smell different than my white sportsocks even when i wear them the same amount of days .
The material is the same , so the difference in smell is funny.
I enjoy the smell of the black ones the most . Anybody who has noticed something similar ?

The black socks are dyed, while the white socks are probably bleached. You may be smelling the byproduct of a reaction between the dye and your sweat.
