The whole "Athlete's Foot" thing

I know that when people are posting pictures of sportsmen's feet, the pun on 'athlete's foot' is apparently very tempting...

But does anyone else find it really off-putting? Is it just me who finds mentioning foot fungus kills the mood when enjoying these pictures?

It's just a pun - I found it clever when someone started using it to categorize the athletic pics. But if it's off-putting to others, I have no problem in dropping it.
