Pretty sure the Xavier Samuel film with his socks being taken off is 'The Loved Ones'. A horror comedy that came out about two years ago and also very very good.

He's barefoot loads in this film, no doubt more screen grabs on the way as soon as someone can get a brilliant quality rip.
