First and foremost, thank you for all of the images and links to the different sized images at Flickr that you do for all of us...they are greatly appreciated. I have noticed that all of the images seem to come from the albums where there is that "all sizes" option available. But, are you also aware that images from the other type account, the ones that say, "add to favs," and "blog this" can also be linked to directly? I just figured this out last night.

For example, there is an image titled "Eric Blaine," on the third page of the photostream for Joys of Gays. If you click the image, you get those two "add to favs-blog this" options only. But, if you right click the image, ON THE BROWSE page, before viewing the individual image's page and bring up the "properties" option on the drop menu, it gives you the URL to the thumb image...like this:

Now, what I learned last night to do was to remove two characters out of the URL, (the _m), and it became a direct, downloadable link to the original image...hence:

It completely bypasses the "spaceball.gif" it tries to give you if you attempt to pull up the URL off the image on it's individual page...so it must be done from the browsing page. I merely copy the URL, paste it into the url addess bar above, remove the two characters and hit enter...and I have the image. And it worked over and over again, making ALL Flickr images linkable and downloadable!

Again, thank you for all of your hard, dedicated work on behalf of all of us, and I hope you found this helpful.:)

Yes, thanks. I've been using Vista's Snipping Tool to get the 'spaceball' pics, but this will be better.
