Alan Ball foot fetish?

Alan Ball brought us "Six Feet Under" which had a famous scene of a star of the show (female) sucking a guys toes. Claire was the character's name. I was watching "True Blood" by Alan Ball this Sunday and the ruler of the Vampires in Mississippi was sitting on a couch with his feet in a young man's lap and the young man was massaging his feet. Ball also had something to do with "American Beauty" which had a good shot of Kevin Spacey's feet.
Just curious.

You're right Indy, it was too quick. That was why I had to go back and watch the episode via On Demand just to be clear about what was happening. The first time I saw it I didn't even notice the guy had his foot in the other lap but I noticed his other foot on the couch close to him and it looked like he only had sheer black socks on. With On Demand I was able to get a better idea of what was going on. Pretty cool!
