I must admit I don't know why someone would not enjoy having someone at their feet. I went to a forum several years ago and someone said that their wife would constantly rub and sometimes kiss his feet and he didn't like it. I asked him what was wrong with it and he didn't reply back.

It feels relaxing so I don't see why it would be a problem.

I think that page is generally pretty good advice, especially if someone is nervous about discussing it with their partner.

I think since a foot fetish is so hard wired into many of us, it's easy to forget not all people are turned on by it, and many are actually repulsed by it. Keep in mind that for the public at large, feet are viewed as a filthy, smelly body part.

I agree, it feels so relaxing, but I went with a guy once who hated having his feet touched, let alone licked. For him it was about being extremely self conscious about his feet, and having them touched made him feel very uncomfortable.

That page had some very useful tips though, particularly if your are getting into a relationship. I'm not really wanting to get into a relationship at the moment so it's a bit easier for me to just completely honest, especially as I tend to use Gaydar for hook-ups. I always ask guys before we agree to meet if it would be ok if I play with their feet etc, and if not, that's fine and I wouldn't push the issue, having said that, every guy I've met on there said they would love to have their feet played with and have their toes sucked. The guy who didn't want his feet touched, I met in a club, I so I'm finding online dating works best for me.

It seems like over the past several years or more, I have been able to meet more guys being open about my foot fetish. I remember twenty years ago you would never see as many guys in flip flops/sandals as you today. I think that it's become more acceptable for guys to feel comfortable showing their feet in public.

That could be the case. I know this isn't really evidence of... well, anything, but something I've noticed with the whole celebrities doing 'foot selfies' on Instagram: you tend to find a fair few comments from fans like 'you have cute feet lol' or similar, mostly from girls though haha (as it's male celebrities images). I do get the impression the general attitude towards feet has relaxed somewhat.

I agree it's good advice on that site. I've been with my partner for 10 years, it took me about 6 months though to confess to my love of his size 11's, been great ever since :-)

Guys, it's so true that many people, and being gay, I'm mainly referring to both gay & Bi guys, who feel that feet & toes are nasty, stinky, repulsive things to touch or go near during sex......"BUT"........and I say ......."BUT"........we think nothing of sniffing, licking, and eating out the other guys butt hole! And when you think about it, the ass hole is far more nastier, smelly ( if not washed) and germ laden than our feet, though I find untrimmed toe nails a huge turn off! So! People need to get off the;" feet turn me off kick"! By the way, I find a guys butt to be a huge turn on like his sexy man feet .......YUM!!!

I couldn't agree with you more. I'd much rather play with a guy's big sexy feet than play with his butthole, and for the life of me, I just don't get these "barebackers". Anal sex is not worth contracting a disease for, and I think it's pretty hard to get an STD through foot worship than "regular sex".

So true.

After 10 years my partner and I still use condoms because we feel it makes it easier anyway.

The internet has definitely helped in evolving male foot fetishism into a more "open secret" in mainstream media and in social sexual behavior. For the first time in history, men from all the world and over the sexual landscape (gay and straight) who share this erotic fascination for feet have been given the opportunity to explore and reveal their desire for, most notably, other men's feet, finding others of like-minded interest and creating a mass online community.

The female foot always had a privileged place in heterosexual eroticism for centuries; in the last couple of decades, the male foot has become more and more "exposed" as an acceptable object of desire. I've noticed in "vintage" gay porn (60, 70's, even 80s), there never seems to be any foot-related activity, whereas it's common for most gay porn available today to include foot fetishism due in no doubt to a form of sexual liberation that has been taking place in male sexuality, thanks in part to the internet and its affect on mainstream media. We've focused so much on the revolution that has undergone in matters of female sexuality in the last century, that we tend to neglect noting the changes taking place in the realm of male sexuality.

I completely agree, I have just turned 30, and in my time watching porn on the internet I have noticed a big change, particularly when it comes to twink porn. I have a wide taste in men, I love hunks and bears, but I also love twinks, and it used to be so rare to see twinks engaging in foot fetish action, but I think studios like Bel Ami caught on and gradually introduced it and then realised how popular it was, and other studios have followed suit. I also think Michael Lucas has brought foot fetish porn into the mainstream, I have exchanged messages with him with movie ideas etc, and he REALLY gives viewers what they want.
