Just saw Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (in previews at the Richard Rodgers Theater in NYC). Benjamin Walker, who plays Brick, is barefoot throughout the entire play. One foot is in a cast, and he spends some time trying to scratch an itch inside. Walker is the son-in-law of Meryl Streep and was in Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson on the stage.

On a similar theme, those in the UK might be interested to know that Tom Sturridge ("On The Road", "Waiting For Forever", etc) is barefoot throughout the entire running time of his new play "No Quarter" at London's Royal Court Theatre.
