If you're talking about the "Contacts & Friends" and "Social Groups" sections available through the User Control Panel page, I honestly believe that most users on the site are unaware that they exist.

As far as social groups go, we are already in a social group, so to speak. The idea of "Social Group" spinoffs within a site as specific as this seems to me devisive, and possibly able to fragment what is, here, an already cohesive group.

I think people are making contacts and friends via private messaging; and that goes further in avenues outside these message boards.

Bottom line: don't despair! Friends are here to be made.

I believe you're right.. I have made a few friends & contacts.. I was just a bit Curious about how others thought about groups.. Now know, It's all good.
